Fit India Movement

Motihari: On the occasion of National Sports Day, ‘Fit India Movement’ was organized at Mahatma Gandhi Central University, Motihari. The training was conducted to be physically fit in the university campus under this event (Fit India Movement). After this, a walking tour was taken from the university campus to the Gandhi Museum.

Students, professors, and university personnel from different faculties of the university participated in the walking tour taken from the university. Also, Prime Minister Narendra Modi‘s address on the Fit India Movement was shown in the university auditorium via live video.

After the Prime Minister’s address, the university’s vice-chancellor, Professor Anil Kumar Rai, told everyone how to stay fit and administered an oath to everyone to be health-conscious. MPhil of Media Department and students of MJMC also actively participated in this program.

On the occasion of the program, the Deputy Secretary of the University, DS W. Ram Bagheria, Dean of the Department of Media Studies, Dr. Vikash Pareek, Professor Neha Nema, Professor Anita Sharma, Hariom Kumar, MPhil Researchers, Naveen Tiwari, Manu Kaushik, Antash, Chinmai Das And from MJMC, Keshav, Prachi, Jacob and other university workers were present.

The university vice-chancellor Dr. Sanjeev Sharma was especially supported for this program. It is to be noted that every year on National Sports Day is celebrated on the birth anniversary of Major Dhyanchand, a hockey magician.
