ICAN 6 emerges as World’s First 7-Day Staggered Colocation Conference – Curtain Raiser held in DME on June 16

Noida, June 16, 2023: DME Media School raises curtain to ICAN6- World’s First 7-Day Staggered Colocation Conference that is scheduled to take place in Delhi Metropolitan Education (DME), Noida on June 19-21. This annual international conference is organised by DME in collaboration with Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia.

The session on the first three days are scheduled in DME, while other sessions are being held in Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies, Faridabad on June 22, Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication, Bhopal on July 21 and Daffodil International University, Dhaka on August 5-6.

The spectacular curtain raiser marked the celebration of pride month with a dedicated skit, rap performance and a pride walk for raising awareness on LGBTQ community. The programme also comprised a captivating group music, fostering a deep connection between the performers and the audience.

Renowned journalist and former professor of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, Shivaji Sarkar was also present on the occasion. He expressed his joy on the performance of students and extended his best wishes for the success of the conference.

Dr Ambrish Saxena, Convenor, ICAN6 and Dean, DME Media School, explained, “We always attempt to bring something new and therefore we came up with this concept of a staggered conference. With masterclass and panel discussion planned, this conference will provide a diverse experience to all participants.”
