Hariom Kumar, Mumbai: Kumar Raj has once again bagged another award for his movie ‘Tara’. Over the weekend the film won an award for the Best Indian Social Drama film at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Film Festival.
The film festival started with an ideology of creating and promoting the atmosphere of film culture in Gujarat .The main motto of the festival is “One World One Cinema One Stage”.
The festival this year awarded the knowledge & expertise that Kumar Raj has given the film industry by contributing it through the medium of films .
“I am very proud that out of 4500 films submitted at the film festival , my movie was selected screened & awarded , I am happy , proud and feel blessed for the amazing teamwork that my team has put for the extraordinary movie and special thanks to award winning international actress Rekha Rana for her outstanding acting in the film . I would love to dedicate this award to my Parents ” exclaimed Producer- Director Kumar Raj.
Tara has received over 299 nominations from all over the world from which Kumar Raj has added over 201 awards so far . Recently Tara was the only Bollywood feature film which has been nominated and screened at Kosice International Film Festival in Slovakia Republic in Europe .
Tara is on MX player in India , Amazon prime in USA ,UK ,Canada & last week it is streaming on Amazon Prime Germany & film is getting a great response .
Kumar Raj’s next film “Yahan Ameena Bikti Hai” is set to release in 2020 soon.
