New Delhi: India’s military strength is going to increase soon. Rafael’s first aircraft manufactured by the French company Dassault Aviation is scheduled to be delivered to India on 20 September. Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Indian Air Force Chief BS Dhanoa will go to France to take the first fighter Rafale aircraft.
According to defense officials, a large Indian military team led by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh is being sent to France by the central government to bring the Rafale aircraft in the third week of September.
When France will hand over Rafale aircraft to India, along with Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Air Force Chief BS Dhanoa, many big officials of the French Government will also be present. It is being told that by May next year, all Rafale from France will be handed over to India.
Actually, India has signed a deal of 36 Rafale planes from France, which will start arriving in India from May next year. Defense Minister Singh and the Indian Air Force Chief will receive the first aircraft from French officials near the aircraft manufacturing plant at Bordeaux. According to officials, the Rafale aircraft that the French company is going to give to India is also advanced than the fighter aircraft in the fleet of the French Air Force.
Significantly, in September 2016, 36 Rafale aircraft was signed between India and France. These aircraft were valued at EUR 7.87 billion. Let me tell you that before the Lok Sabha elections on the Rafale deal, there was also a lot of politics in India.
